About Me & My Work

I’ve owned Scene Marketing Group for over twelve years. In 2005, SMG first started out as a digital marketing agency, we expanded into experiential marketing, and later became a full-service agency. By 2012, the business was booming, but I’ll be honest – I was miserable. The average agency model kept me focused more on accounting, office management, and HR responsibilities. It wasn’t serving my clients, and it wasn’t serving me. I decided to let go of my ego, let go of the “typical” agency ideal structure, and spend more time with my clients. Now I chose to work with organizations who inspire, give back to their employees and their communities.

 

Today, Scene Marketing Group operates as a hub. Clients work directly with me 100% of the time. They won’t experience a hand-off to a junior employee, no getting lost in a pipeline. I am a creative matchmaker, partnering my customers with the right individuals to execute on the job. I am the lead strategist, creative director, and project manager from beginning to end.

About Shannon

A Leader in Creativity

I work as a Creative Team Project Manager for C-Level execs whose mid-size enterprise’s revenues fall between $50 million and less than $1 billion. I enjoy initiating change that is important in reaching long-range goals, and I can often see the ‘big picture’ & the necessary steps to achieve those objectives.

With over 16 years of marketing and public relations experience, I excel at project management, marketing, and public relations. Creating innovative campaigns, strategy plans, and managing all of the details and development is where my core passion lies. Clients also engage me for my experience in digital communications, storytelling, creative direction, and I possess extensive social media skills.

I have won multiple awards for my work and also speak on many topics including small business, social media, and digital marketing. Honesty, transparency, excellent communication, timeliness, professionalism, organization, creativity, imagination, teamwork, drive, ambition, and positivity are just some of my values.
